Luke was a beautiful dog; large and handsome at 123.5 pounds.  He lived out his days in beautiful woods, with 2 other shepherds and one little papillon.  He was a mama's boy, and slept right next to my bed every night. When the alarm clock would go off each morning, Luke would lead a rousing howl and the other 2 shepherds would join in.  He would point his nose at the ceiling or the sky, just like a wolf.  He wore a bandana every day, and liked to get a clean bandana every week. He needed his ears cleaned out often due to ear wax, and enjoyed the process and the attention.  He rode in our little electric car, and sniffed the air deeply.  He loved the other 3 dogs, and he loved us.  He had very strong ball drive, and would chase balls all day if you didn't stop him.  He liked all foods except lemons, but his favorites were salmon and cheese. He liked dog biscuits too, and human food every day.  He had the most delicious smell; his fur never got wet and it repelled water; and his skin and fur smelled delicious.  He smiled a big grin all the time.  He was happy to his last day.  He was my love.

ps Kerry-I forgot to mention to you--the dog we got from you, Katie's daughter, is named Sally G.  She is my mother's dog, and will be 7 in June.  She is healthy and beautiful; although on the small side-67 pounds. She is also a good howler; and takes her Sheltie friend next door to the neighbor's house to beg for biscuits.  She didn't like Luke, the time she met him; and ran him off the property.  I guess she's very alpha.  She is a good dog, and my parents adore her.

Hi Kerry...
Your puppy is doing just great!  What a little doll.  He is getting along just fine with 'Slick', eating well, and has come in the house a couple of times.  He even liked getting up on the bed with us to snuggle after breakfast with Slick and the cat!  Slick doesn't snuggle, but he and the cat did.... :-)  (she is very patient with puppies).

  Thanks....

Just saw your web page, Viking and I are pictured on your page with the obedience class were the ones in the middle and viking is the one on the right on the picture below.just wanted to let you know that at the time of the picture and when they graduated they were only 4mos. and 6days! Marsha used to show in obedience and she received two CD's and one CDX. in six shows with nothing lower than 190, her highest was 199 the judge said he would have given her a perfect score except there was no such thing as a perfect dog. She said Buck's pup Viking is the most intelligent puppy she has ever work with at such a young age. and looks forward to start showing Shepherds again. Thanks for the great breeding! Richard.

Three years ago,I got Missy from Kerry. She was one of the most wonderful dogs we have ever had. She was my buddy and went almost everywhere with me. I still expect to see her run out to meet me when I get home from work. When she passed over,(3/6/04)Kerry went with me and I was so grateful to her for being there for Missy and me. It's always so hard to be there, but I know Missy was happy to see her. Thank you so much Kerry for my wonderful baby.

Kerry,

We wanted to take a little time and let you know how Heidi is doing and how
we are doing since Heidi has been in our lives.  First of all, in the short
time that we’ve had Heidi, she has become such a big part of our family and
has made our lives very full and wonderful.  It is amazing how smart she is!
Potty trained completely in less than a month with very few accidents to
begin with.  She is crate trained and does very well at night sleeping in
her own bed.  She is leash trained like a champ and loves to go on walks.
She will come, sit, stay, and lay down on command, and she will even shake
and give a high five.  Her excellent disposition and playful personality
brings us so much joy.  We can’t believe a dog only three months old can
learn and do so much – she amazes us!  We just wanted to say thank you for
helping us pick the “perfect” dog, because that is what she is.  Your
knowledge, concern, friendliness, and professionalism have made this a
wonderful experience.  Heidi has truly been a blessing to us and we look
forward to the years ahead with her in our family.

Sincerely,

Kerry,
Just wanted to let you know that Gabe is doing great. He has adjusted SO well to life here--I'm amazed at how seamlessly he has blended into our home and routine. He paws at the glass door to go out, plays catch with a ball, sits and comes on command already; not every time, of course, but more often than not! He doesn't mind being crated at night. He whines for about a minute, then settles in and sleeps until 7 a.m. the next morning! His personality and demeanor are just wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a sweeter, smarter puppy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks again,

Hi Kerry,
I just thought I'd let you know how the pup is doing. We've decided to name her Kaitlyn and call her Katy. She traveled well yesterday but the trip wore her out. She slept most of the evening and all night. I put her in bed with me last night so I could tell when she was up and could take her out. She's doing very well with going outside (rain and all) to do her business. She got a leash yesterday and is doing pretty well with tolerating it. I'm not going to worry about working with her much until she's older but we don't have the whole yard fenced yet and when I take her out at night, I can't see her if she gets out of the range of the yard light. She is eating well. She looks around a lot when she is eating like she is wondering how she managed to get the whole bowl to herself! She follows me around from room to room and is sleeping on an old towel at my feet right now. The cat isn't nearly as crazy about her as the rest of us, but we knew that would be case! He's old and set in his ways. I told my friend, he is like old Mr. Wilson from Dennis the Menace! lol Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know that she seems to be settling in just fine and appears to be very content. She will definitely be very spoiled!
Thanks,
Christy

A little over two years ago, we purchased a black shepherd puppy from Kerry. She has grown into the most wonderful dog we have ever owned - a gentle, loving family dog who is always working double duty. One "knows" that despite her gentle manner, she would fiercly protect us if called to duty.I knew from the moment I saw Kerry interacting with her own animals this was the dog for us. She is truly a breeder who cares where her animals go and how they are raised. I encourage anyone looking for a shepherd pup to stop here and purchase one of her dogs.

I am the owner of "Loyal" the son of "Logo" and "Missy". This particular breeding produced one of the most beautiful and unique German Shepard Dogs I have ever seen,or any other breed for that matter. People are constantly stopping me to admire him and pet or ask me about him.Loyal is a large,power- fully built black and tan with a big beautiful head, combined with a sweet disposition, being especialy gentle with small children and old people. He is a brave and fearless protector,as he has already proven many times. I was saddened to hear of the passing of his father,Logo,I hope Loyal passes on some of the genes that have made him so great.

Im glad to see that Kerry has a website showcasing her wonderful dogs! We purchased a puppy from her in Oct. of '97, and it grew to be the most wonderfully loyal family companion we could have asked for. Tagically, she was killed on the highway near our home. Two years later we have purchased another pup from her (the GatorxSara litter) and this pup is showing signs of being equally wonderful. Kerry goes to great lengths to make sure her dogs are quality animals who will be outstanding "family members" and takes care to place each dog in a home she thinks would be best suited for puppy AND owner. Thank you for your service to the German Shepherd breed Kerry.

Sincerely, The Michael family
