Here at Von Sudlich Shepherds, we home-raise puppies to be companions and family dogs first. Puppy Program
We know that every puppy can't be a Champion, High in Trial or a Schutzhund 3 so we raise them for the family in mind. We want them to be in the house around kids, cats, and all those house noises that could scare a pup if they are not use to these noises. Pans clattering, noisy televisions, loud men, running of kids, and older dogs are everyday life to these pups.
I like a calm easy-going dog that will lay at your feet by the fire, yet will walk for miles on a hike with the family or chase the ball endlessly.
With the dogs we have now we are in the process of training them and using them for obedience trials, demo dogs and dogs for therapy work. You need a certain type for this. One that loves strangers and will except them and that are use to and are great with kids.
And they don't have to be champions, they just look like one.
We don't prefer the American to the German lines. Or visa versa. We just want puppies that will grow to be great family members. Trainability a must and able to move and show like champions.
